Day 1: transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park
Transfer from Kigali to Bwindi via Cyanika border check point. Arrive in southwestern Uganda and transfer to your lodge in Ruhija gorilla sector of Bwindi. Dinner and overnight at Bakiga lodge/ Ruhija gorilla safari lodge

Day 2: gorilla tracking and transfer to Ishasha southern sector of Queen Elizabeth national park
You will be taken to the park center after breakfast where you gather for briefing on gorilla rules. You will have a guided gorilla trekking through the forest which rewards you with an hour encounter with mountain gorillas. Later, hike back to the center and have lunch at your lodge. Afterwards, you will set off from Bwindi and transfer to Ishasha wilderness southern sector of Queen Elizabeth national park. This place is home to lions that climb trees (tree climbing lions) which you shall. Arrive at your lodge for refreshment after which you embark on evening game drive in Ishasha to look for tree climbing lions among other animals like elephants, buffaloes, topi. Dinner and overnight in Ishasha wilderness camp/ Enjojo lodge

Day 3: game drive in Ishasha and boat cruise afternoon
Today you will be heading for a boat cruise on kazinga channel at 03pm. First you will do a game drive through Ishasha to Mweya peninsular reaching for lunch. Enjoy a 2 hours’ boar ride to spot a variety of wildlife including hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants and a spectrum of birdlife including giant kingfishers, pelicans, and fish eagles. Diner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge/ Simba safari camp/ Buffalo safari lodge

Day 4: Track chimps in kalinzu forest enroute to Kigali
On your transfer back to Kigali, you will first go via Kalinzu forest reserve for 1-hour chimpanzee tracking excursion after which you continue the journey to Kigali.
