8 Days wildlife Safari to Jinja, Murchison Falls National Park, & Kibale National Park.

Day 1: Arrive the Pearl of Africa Uganda
Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport by a company representative carrying a company sign with your names on it and you will be transferred to check in to your overnight hotel. If you arrive earlier in the day there will be a chance to do a city tour of Kampala and change some money to local currency. Places to visit around Kampala will include: the taxi park, and the Bahai temple, among others as time will allow.  Available choices for dinner and an overnight:  Airport guest house (budget), Cassia Safari Lodge  (moderate), Kampala Serena Hotel (luxury).

 Day 2: Transfer to Jinja (water rafting and visit to source of the Nile)
Pick up from your hotel at 6:40am after breakfast, to head east of Uganda to Jinja on a drive of about 2 hours 80km from Kampala. The drive goes via Mabira tropical rain forest, sugarcane and tea plantations, homesteads, shops and markets all the way to Jinja. Head straight to where the water rafting starts with a brief to prepare you well for the activity that will last about 1-2 hours. Go for lunch at a restaurant in Jinja before visiting the source of the river Nile and embarking on a boat cruise. The boat cruise lasts between 1-2 hours of relaxing with chances to see various bird species like the king fisher among others. Return from the boat cruise to get ready for the return journey to Kampala via Jinja town to look around. Day 3: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park (Rhino Trekking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Top of Falls Viewing at MFNP)
Depart Kampala at 7:30 for a journey of about 6-7 hours northeast ward via Luweero Nakasongola to Karuma use the pakwach side. We will have a stopover to track the rhinos at Ziwa Sanctuary and have lunch after lunch continue with the journey to the enter the park and get to have a game view of the wildlife as you head to your overnight accommodation reach the accommodation check in and have choices for dinner and overnight:  Fort Murchison lodge /Gipiri and Labongo Safari Lodge (budget), Pakuba Safari Lodge (moderate), Paraa Safari Lodge (luxury).

 Day 4: Early Morning Game drive and Afternoon Boatcruise at Murchison Falls National Park
Start off at about 6:30am for better chances to see the big cats hunting heading north of the park. Wildlife here includes: lions, elephants, warthogs, giraffe, buffalo bushbucks and many more besides several bird species.  The game drive lasts about 3-4 hours before returning to the lodge for a late breakfast. Refresh and relax at the lodge/camp as we wait for lunch before proceeding for a boat cruise of about 3hours ending at the bottom of the falls. The boat activity brings us close to schools of crocodiles, hippopotamus, and several water bird species along the river bank. Day 5: Transfer to Fort Portal 

After breakfast head out of the park heading to Fort portal with a stopover at Kibiro Salt Gardens which have supported surrounding communities for hundreds of years. The area locals extract salt which they exchange with neighboring communities for items they do not have. We arrive Hoima to have lunch and relax then after lunch continue the to fort portal town. Reach fort portal town after 9-10hours drive head to your overnight accommodation and check in relax then make   choices for dinner and overnight at Kibale Forest Camp (budget), Turaco Treetop’s Lodge (Mid-Range), Primate safari lodge/ kyaninga safari lodge(luxury).

  Day 6: Visit the Amabere g'Nyinamwiru Caves.

Today have a relaxed breakfast at 9am get to sleep in and rest from the long drive stay at lodge have lunch then after lunch drive to Amabere g’ Nyinamwiru Caves and get briefed about the place by a local guide and hike to “the top of the world” before proceeding to Kibale to check in. Available choices for dinner and overnight to Kyaninga lodge/Primate Safari Lodge (Luxury), Turaco Treetops Lodge (mid-range), Kibale Forest Camp (budget).

Day 7: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi Nature Walk at Kibale National Park
Go out to Kibale forest for chimpanzee trekking after breakfast starting off at 8:00am with a briefing from the parker rangers. The rangers tell visitors about the parks ‘regulations and how to behave around the chimpanzees before they are guided into the forest. Chimpanzee trekking lasts 3-5 hours with great sighting opportunities. The forests’ undergrowth is plush with a beautiful canopy of huge trees over a hundred years old. There are remarkable bird species here like: African Pitta, and the Green-breasted Pitta, and more. The chimpanzee trek requires some physical fitness moreover visitors are allowed only 1hour of viewing once they encounter them. Please have your cameras well charged to capture memorable pictures of the chimps. Other possible sightings include: red colobus monkey, L’Hoest, Blue monkey, grey mangabey, velvet monkey, baboons, beautiful butterfly species and giant forest hog among others. Return from the forest to have lunch and thereafter head to Bigodi wetland for a nature walk. This activity is run by the local community to offer an alternative to cutting down forest trees for survival. Bigodi Sanctuary is host to a unique vegetation cover, swamp, primates like the golden monkey, and bird species like the shining blue kingfisher and blue Throated Roller.  Day 8: Transfer to Entebbe
A relaxed start of the day with breakfast before transferring to Entebbe International Airport for flight home. The return route to Entebbe is different giving us an opportunity to see another side of the country through, Mubende, Kyegegwa and Mityana towns with lunch along the way. Watch out for some amazing market displays, farmlands and the local people going about their daily routines. Arrive Kampala and briefly visit the curio shops for possible souvenirs to take home with you. Head to Entebbe International Airport for your flight home.
