5 days Gorilla wildlife safari to Uganda

5 days primate wildlife safari to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park & Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 1. Transfer Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park

Today early morning you will meet our driver – guide from Jamie Jungle safaris on arrival from Tanzania at the Entebbe Airport then embark on 8-9hour to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Expect a stopover at Mpambire traditional drum makers for enroute lunch and the Uganda Equator. You will see the beautiful plantations of bananas and coffee as well as the long-horned Ankole cattle. Have lunch in Mbarara town and then continue to the park. Dinner and overnight at Mahongy Springs Lodge (Luxury), Silverback safari Lodge/The Haven Lodge Buhoma (mid-range), Ride for a Woman (Budget).

 Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Batwa pygmies at Bwindi

Today wake up at 7am have breakfast After breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by the park wardens about this activity.   At 8:00 am you will set out to the Gorilla groups led by park guides and rangers. Dressed in hiking boots, walking sticks, rain jacket some drinking water and packed lunch, you will move into the forest. The duration for your search is unpredictable as the movements of the gorillas determine it; however, on finding the gentle giants, you will spend about an hour with them; taking photographs, videos and observing their fantastic way of life. In the evening you will visit the Batwa pygmies in their new communities. Later you will return to your overnight lodge for dinner and overnight Mahongy springs Lodge (Luxury), Silverback Safari Lodge/ The Haven Lodge Buhoma (Mid-range), Ride for a woman (Budget).

 Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, See Tree Climbing Lions.

Today wake up to a relaxed morning at 8am and have breakfast After your breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park driving through Ishasha-the southern part of this park. As you drive in search of the tree climbing lions, you will see their prey grazing in the plains. Dine and spend the night at Mweya Safari Lodge/Elephant Plains Lodge (Luxury), Ihamba Safari Lodge (Mid-range), Simba Safari Lodge (Budget).

Day 4: Game Drive and Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth

A morning game drive in the park gives you a chance to the see early risers like; Lions, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes and if lucky a leopard. You will return for lunch at your lodge and in the afternoon take a thrilling 2 hours boat cruise on the beautiful Kazinga Channel. During the boat ride, you will see hippos, crocodiles, a variety of bird species, wild animals as they come to drink water. Dinner and spend your night at Mweya Safari Lodge/ Elephant Plains Lodge (Luxury), Ihamba Safari Lodge (Mid-range), Simba Safari Lodge (Budget).

 Day 5: Transfer to Kampala

Today early raiser at 7am have breakfast After breakfast, set out to Kyambura gorge to track Chimpanzees. Later return to Kampala, Or transfer to Entebbe International airport in time to catch your flight back home.
