Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

The guide of active African vacations limited, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, you will have a stopover at the Equator, Proceed to Mbarara town for lunch at Agip later continue with your journey to the Park. Reach Bwindi in the evening and upon arrival, have dinner and overnight stay at Mahogany springs Lodge (Luxury), The Haven Lodge Buhoma (Mid-range), Ride 4 a Woman (Budget).

Day 2:  Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will wake up very early in the morning for breakfast and Move to your starting point for the Gorilla trek briefing which is made by the Uganda Wildlife Authority wardens. Depending on where the mountain gorillas were last night, the gorilla trek takes between 2 to 8 hours. However, an encounter with these friendly primates will be so exciting and wonderful (Once a lifetime encounter and experience which is hard to forget). Their encounter will enable you to forget all the steep slopes and valleys you have gone through. After meeting them, you will return back to your lodge for relaxation, refreshments, dinner, and an overnight at Mahogany springs Lodge (Luxury), The Haven Lodge Buhoma (Mid-range), Ride 4 a Woman (Budget).

Day 3: Transfer to Rwanda

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Rwanda. Upon arrival at the border, you will clear the immigration and later enter Rwanda and drive to Ruhengeri for dinner and overnight stay at Kinigi Guest House/ Lapalme Hotel/Mountain Gorilla view lodge.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking at Volcanoes National Park

You will take breakfast in the early morning before you report to Volcanoes national park Rwanda headquarters in Kinigi for a gorilla trek registration and briefing. After this, you will set off and enter the Virunga forest for the gorilla trek search. The time taken to search for these rare Mountain Gorillas varies with how close they are and sometimes, it’s unpredictable of their natural habitat. You will only be allowed to spend with them one hour and later you will return back. Return back to the lodge for lunch and if time allows, you will visit the little-known gorgeous Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. Return back to the lodge for refreshments and dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to kigali Airport

After a morning breakfast have a City tour and later drive to Kigali airport for your flight.
